The Her Power Project is a significant initiative aligned with the visionary ‘Digital Bangladesh – Vision 2041’ of the Bangladesh government. The aim is to empower women and enhance transparency, accountability, and governance across all levels and sectors. It connects citizens, ensuring access to essential services even in the remotest corners of Bangladesh.

This project is part of the government’s broader efforts to promote ICT-related activities, spearheaded by the Department of ICT within the ICT Division of Bangladesh.

The targets of Her Power Project are:

Provide five-month-long training to 25,125 women in various categories across 130 upazilas
Conduct a one-month mentorship program for trainees
Organize 46 seminars at central and district levels to promote women’s empowerment in information technology applications
Establish a single women entrepreneurship platform for the development of 25,125 women as ICT professionals and entrepreneurs
Form partnerships with government and private organizations, organizing job fairs.
